Yah or nay? I've only heard naturals raving about this product. How does it work on relaxed hair? TIA! :)

I use the Anti-Humectant. I believe the Anti-Humectant is more for straight styles, while the Humectant is for curlier styles. Both are pomades and before using the Universal Styling Creme, I would smooth a dab of the pomade on my hair after blowdrying and curling and that was it. Because it is a bit heavy I wouldn't think it could be used everyday, although my brother uses it (the Anti-Humectant) daily to smooth down his waves.

I use the humectant to smooth down my sides. I use the anti-humectant for my flexi-rods and twist-outs. The anti-humectant, for me, is good to give the sets a nice shine and luster. It also holds well without feeling hard. I hate that...

Bumped for any more responses.

I had a dream about this last night, I went to Aveda to buy some anti-humectant and air dried my hair and it came out perfectly straight and smooth. I am too obsessed with hair.

I have both, the anti-humectant is to keep humidity out when you have flat ironed or straightened your hair. The humectant is to draw moisture in and it also prevents frizziness at the same time.

I am switching to using the humectant on a daily basis to smooth my buns and french roll and I will use the anti-humectant when I straighten my hair or wear flexirod sets:)

humectant = draw moisture in & prevent frizz
antihumectant = hold moisture out & prevent reversion of straightened hair

Oh ok, this makes a lot of sense! Thanks so much! :rosebud:

I use the AVEDA anti-humectant pomade when I flat iron. Love It !!!!!!

I have used the humectant for when I wear my wash-n-go or wash-n-go buns but Fantasia IC gel works better for me for that purpose
