Hello ladies,
I just relaxed after a 12 week stretch and I've added 3 rows of sewn in weave for length and a little body.
However, for the last couple of months since I was stretching without extensions, I was able to wash 2 - 3x times a week and add a lot of those lovely moisturizing oils and products to my hair. I didnt care about build up or the frequency of the washes.

Now that I have both types of hair in, I'm using MTG on my roots and just some IC silicon for shine on the body of the hair. I dont think I will wash more than 1x a week or every other week. Since I dont have the time to sit under the dryer each week and style etc. And I surely dont want to sacrifice all my hard work and experience breakage just to look good.

I need a product to add moisture to my hair but something that's not wet. And hopefully without the Mineral Oil and Petrolatum.

Right now I have Surge Moisture Aid, but I think that's too gel like and wet to add to relaxed hair. I also have ISOPLUS tea tree and aloe, but this has Mineral Oil and Petrolatum, should I use it anyway?

What do you ladies use for moisture?

Hey TD, just saw this post...

Maybe try NTM Silk Touch or Profective Break Free. I like those (so far ;)) on my hair....and then sometimes (or always) seal the mositure in by lightly applying a little oil afterwards.

maybe you can check out the crown and glory technique!

I'm not doing crown and glory. I just want a moisurizer that wont have my weave and natural hair looking wet and stinky.
