Hello ladies!
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII'M Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Some of you may remember me as someone put on the OT board once as the girl who always had something wrong with her hair. Well...I'm back and my hair and I have come to an understanding. Here's a little background. When I first joined the boards officially as more than just a lurker a little over a year ago, I was dealing with her that has weak, overprocessed and suffering from heat damage. It was still really thick and looked good, but it broke alot. To add to the problems, I had to take a swimming class, so I was just all F'ed up.
I got into a lot of experimenting and trying everything I read on the board...and the biggest mistake I made was switching to lye relaxers. Only then did I become the girl who cried help every other day! After having my hair fall completely out in the back in the fall of this past year, I decided to reevaluate my hair care journey. I looked at old pictures and remembered what I used to do to my hair when it was in its best condition. In january of this year, I had my hair cut, and as a result of a a %*@#%@%! accident, the back got shaved....and I was reborn. My hair BARELY sheds or breaks....I went back to no lye relaxers..The thickness has increased which is just crazy! and its shiny and soft generally until it gets time to wash. The only problem I have now is that my scalp gets dry/itchy/flaky often, I'm working on that. Here is my new regime/products:.....(I will be posting pictures to monitor progress as soon as I buy a new digital cam)
