Since cassia is an herb/plant, the brand should make little difference. I would be interested in the responses.
brand shouldnt matter. what i would focus on is how fresh it is and how finely sifted it is.
and it's not going to last longer than the other depending on brand, cassia is something that cumulatively gives you stronger hair, you have to keep using it to keep seeing the benefits.
henna is different because of the color. like there's yemen, jamila...and then the crop year. one crop may yield a deeper or redder color than another crop.
I get it from USA Wholsellers.com. they are based in NY, so I just go to their 'store'. but depending on where you live you may have to order it....I also want to try hennasooq when my stash runs out b/c I think her prices might be lil better.
Thanks so much Empressri; I think this is the info I was looking for!
So do you, or anyone for that matter, have a certain site where you feel like you get your freshest most finely sifted cassia? Any kind/site to avoid? For example, I just got Rainbow from Whold Foods and I've seen many times on here where ppl say it isnt well sifted. I'm gonna use it anyway, but in the future want some that is finely sifted.
Also, how does one tell how fresh cassia is?
Please chime it ladies!
Thanks for all the responses ladies. So it seems most agree that thicker, heavier hair comes from regular use. anyone use once a week? is that too much? also, my hair LOVES protein! do i need to adjust how much or how i use protein if using cassia? should i do a protein treatment, cassia and then dc? help! keep em comin' lol
