Hi, Im interested in trying Cassia ( clear henna) but Im curious about the benefits and what the downsides are if there are any,, any advice would be appreciated...,

I have never encountered a downside. I admit, I don't think cassia is as good as henna as far as conditioning goes, but the fact that you don't have to deal with the same mess or color change, it overcompensates for that. :)

It still is conditioning, in my opinion and it gets better with each use.

ITA. If you don't want any color change, go with cassia, because contrary to popular belief, henna does deposit some color. May not be as noticeable, but some color is deposited.
