I need some tips about regimen building. I am finding it harder everyday to develop that perfect regimen that works for me. I have yet to discover any staples and techniques that work to grow my hair. I am beginning to understand certain concepts but haven't learned how to apply them to myself . My question is if you haven't yet found any staples and are still trying to figure things out what are some things you can do to keep yourself on track. what I mean by this is there any basics I can start with and than add things as I go? Right now I am all over the place one moment im transitioning and the next im doing a full 360 and relaxing again leading to over processing thus to dead ends and the saga continues.

I think the most important thing to add to your regime is stretching relaxers to atleast 8 to 10 weeks, daily moisturizing ,and bunning daily. Then everything else will fall into place.

when building a regimen you have to create order such as a routine that you will be doing weekly, bi weekly or whenever start w/this and build from there. Next to the topic you should put what product your using and how your using it.

"Regimen:"

Prepoo:
Shampoo:
Condt:
DC:
Method of drying:
Moisturizer:
Oils:
Protective style:

You can also add vitamins, clarifying, hot oil treatments, strecthing your perms (if you are a relaxed head). With this regimen I recommend you do it every week consistantly to see progress insha Allah. Look through some of the other ladies albums on here for tips on which products to use and how to use them. "NOTE TO SELF" know that your regimen may change untill you find out what works BEST for your hair b/c what works for others may not work for you and also try to keep it simple so it wont be to much on you to do.

If you have anymore questions dont be afraid to ask and welcome to LHCF.

I agree! I fell hard because i did too much too soon though. now i really don't have a strong regimen, but i have my staple products now. this is mostly because i'm transitioning and i have two different textures going on. so i do what my hair tells me to do whenever it needs it. i have fould my staple oils, staple deep conditioner, and staple moisturizer. everything else is extra!

I dont know my hardest issue right now is developing a consistant plan the products come after but without the staples I dont feel like I can do much I dont kow im just lost.... Right now my regimen consists of moisturizing everyday and once a week shampoo and deep condition.
