Recommend a Protein Conditioner

Protein Treatments I use:

1. Aubrey Organics GPB (primarily as a prepoo treatment, once a week)
2. Eqyss Mega-Tek (the new love of my life, after CO Washes)
3. Nexxus Emergencee (the other new love of my life, this is a deep protein treatment, I've not developed a routine w/this one yet. Used after my texturizer to bring back some of the curl pattern, worked like a charm) Will probably use this one once a month.

Whatever you use, be sure so follow up w/a good moisturizer!!

My hair does really well w/a lot of protein so my recommendation on frequency is probably not one you should embrace without caution. Too much protein can cause breakage, brittle/hard hair. Mine is doing neither, I also have NO shedding but that's me.

You'll get some great follow up on this thread for sure!!

HTH! Happy Hair Growing!!

i have used aphrogee, its really good for a high impact.
sebastians penetraite is really good too.Penetraite does not make your hair as hard as aphrogee.

My two faves are Nexxus Keraphix (mild protein) and Nexxus Emergencee (most potent)

Same with me...I like Penettrait also by Sebastian and Aubrey's GPB prior to shampoo

I prefer Aubrey Organics' GPB conditioner. My hair is relaxed and can also take a lot of protein - I've conditioner washed weekly with GPB to no ill effects. BUT - how often each individual should use protein conditioner depends on factors such as how damaged the hair is (the more damaged, the greater the need for protein, i.e., colored, relaxed hair NEEDS protein, lol - or if you use a lot of heat), whether hardcore or mild protein is used, and how much the hair can naturally absorb (some people's hair can take a lot and others can't absorb much before becoming brittle). HTH! :)

That was nicely conveyed!

My hair isn't partial to heavy protein conditioners or reconstructor's, so I use Lamaur Bone Marrow Treatment once a month, which gives my hair just the right amount of protein and moisture. I   that stuff!!!!
