For all the natural women 4a/b I need a strong hand dryer. Sometimes when I wash and set my hair, my roots are crazy curly. And I would love to get it to lie down flat. I need a hand dryer that has a fine comb too. Please recommend one for me. My hair is 4a/b relaxed. Thanks!

I rec twin turbo 2600. This is what my stylist uses when I get my hair blow dried and flat ironed

The GVP line at sally's makes awesome dryers....lightweight and dry hair quickly leaves hair soft

Bump. I'm 3c/4a and really want to dry blow drying again (as it's been a disaster in the past). I don't think I use a powerful enough blow dryer though. I need one a step under the one the Dominicans use.

my stylist uses a yellow bird, I think Sallys sells them. When she blew out my hair it would be as straight as when I tried to flat iron my hair the first time lolol

I have a t3 tourmaline. No comb attachment but gets my hair dry in 7 min. It was EXPENSIVE but I've had it for 5 years using about every 5-7d. I clean the air filter regularly so it doesn't break down.

yeah the yellow bird is great and its inexpensive

Thanks guys I really need something that has a comb attached and gets the job done!

Yellow/black/silver bird blowdryers from Conair. They have different heat settings and speed settings. very durable.

I like this one (Sedu 4000i). It's about 150.00 but dries my hair in 15 minutes with very little frizz.

Cosign. I have a silverbird. I love that thing. I also have a babyliss and another red conair blowdryer. For regular blowdrying I go with the silverbird. The comb attachment falls off a lot though so I taped that sucker on.

I will always be an advocate of the Twin Turbo line, I have the 3200 ceramic/ionic version and it's crazy powerful (its the brand they use in dominican salons for blowouts). I've also heard great things about the Chi Turbo and the Sedu 4000i.

I have one too. I found it at TJ Maxx. I love it and it is quiet and dries my hair in about 10 minutes.
