Reborn Virgins....?

You can be reborn in the spiritual sense, but not in the physical sense unless you get one of those surgeries that stitches your hymen back together. There are scriptures that talk about this (Isaiah 1:18), about the Lord making you as white as snow because forgives you and does not remember your sins any longer. You can't change what's happened in the past, but always know that God loves you very much and that you are a jewel.

Thank you for the reply 19sweetie!!

I know that God will forgive me, I just can't seem to let go of the guilt. How do you do that? I feel dirty like a good man will never want to marry me because of my past decisions. I don't know how to get past this and heal. I've been praying and asking for guidance and healing. I'm just wondering how any of you have been able to move past this and forgive yourself since God has already forgiven you.

Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior your sins (all sins) are forgiven and you are a new person in God's eyes. If He already forgives you then you have to learn to let go and move on too. Committ yourself to the Lord including your body and take it day by day giving Him glory. :)

Remember condemnation is not from God so let those feeling go. He forgave you already, you're only going to hurt yourself to allow condemnation to take over you. Your God's child and your husband is already pre-plan by God and he will accept you just as Christ accepts you.

I've felt the same way you have, but then after much encouragement, talking with friends and mentors and scripture reading, I realized that I can't change what's happened in the past. Our time on earth is so short and God will continue the good work that is in us. We just have to heed the call. Stay focused on Him and all the other things he has in store for you will come. Don't beat yourself up over what may have happened, but stay focused on what is in the future.

Thanks ladies for the encouragement. This is going to be a tough one for me but I know the Lord will bring me through.
