SO YUMMY!
Now THIS is a conditioner. It is neck and neck with my Joico Moisture recovery. It is soooo much better than that real control mess IMO. Im in love again. :love:

The reason why I called in PJs is because this is a MUST have. The Joico line I mentioned is a MUST have. Coming from a hard core PJ, I really think I can settle down with that Joico line, butter treat, and tresemme smooth and silky. I need to get rid of all the other PJ rubbish I bought. I'll donate.

Okay you've got me more than interested. I am a die hard Kera Care fan. I bought the Butter Treat a couple months ago and I've never used it. So....are you saying I need Joico Moisture line too. I'm looking for a back up to Kera Care.

Are these 2 lines really that good????
 
I tried Butter Treat last night (rinsed it out this morning) and did notice that my hair is very soft but not a marked difference from when I use my other products i.e., Herbal Essences LTR leave-in, SCurl, coconut oil etc.

I will use it until the bottle DH picked up for me is finished. Not sure if I'll buy the large size though.
 
It didn't really work for me as a DC, but when I leave it in my hair is softer(relatively speaking) than usual and easier to manage.

I had to cut down on usage because it builds up very easily.
 
I only like this with heat and its more a smoother than a DC IMO.I liked it as a leave in on natural hair too,but its not a must have.

I paid $60 for that foolishness. I actually need to get a refund on that.

I got it from trade secret in another town...would they take it back in MY town even tho they dont even have it yet? :ohwell:

Girl your hair is a strange one, this has that wax in it! it didnt feel waxy to you?

I wonder what about the other one made it feel waxy it had to be the Shea Butter then I guess

That wax is higher up on the list in real control. I just washed out the butter treat and uh..

I think this is better as a leave in :look: . It feels GLORIOUS.
 
I like the butter treat too. I have a tube of it now. My only complaint is that it isn't consistent enough for me. I have fine hair so I think that may be a part of it. I am sending to someone so it can have a new home. I do think it is quality conditioner though:yep:
 
i looooooooooooooove the heavy cream. this butter treat is still sitting on my shelf. i will give it another try to see if i like it better.

It feels wonderful , but I could definitely feel the protein content in this one. I think they are totally different and compliment each other , at least thats how it goes for me

first your doing light protein, then your adding that lovely butter treat moisture

its perfect

Hey, what's going on here? All this talk about heavy cream and butter treat together?

Who makes heavy cream? Where can I get it? What are the ingredients? How much does it cost? Can I get samples? I want another hairgasm!! :grin::lachen:
 
i'm a wal-mart pj...if i cant find it at wal-mart i dont want it...

except kenra mc and baby buttercreme :creatures

but i do want to try this and the joico products. redken stuff will be on sale at ulta starting sunday, i need to check my mailer to see if smooth down products are included.

I just posted about this conditioner today in another thread. After a year of searching for a conditioner that will work on my dry as the Sahara desert 4B hair I have finally found it and its name is Butter Treat. It works great for me as both a deep conditioner and a leave in.

This stuff is the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried the heavy cream and it just didn't do very much for my hair. But the butter treat truly transformed my hair...I was so amazed.

I was so excited that my husband thought that I had lost my mind! :lachen:
 
Cosigning! But my new favorite is Real Control Intense Moisturizing Mask.


ETA: I also started getting rid of all my other conditioners after finding
Butter Treatment and All Soft. Now I'm using Intense Moisturizing Mask
instead of Butter Treatment!

I have naturally dry hair and this summer heat is not helping...Nothing had been helping.

:pray: that this will work for me.

I have no problem buying an expensive conditioner as long as it works for my hair.

Wish their was a walmart in my area.
