How quickly/soon have you noticed new growth after a touch-up? I'm not sure if I should start jumping for joy, or if I didn't apply the relaxer thoroughly enough. I'm usually very careful to make sure I have applied it thoroughly.
Because I think I have good "chunk" of new growth at my crown already ...
Things I'm Doing Differently:
1. taking iron supplements to help the anemia
2. other supplements: GNC Nourish Hair, MSM, Biotin supplement (with horsetail, vitamin b complex and something else i can't remember),and I was trying to eat eggs, but it's making me sick.
3. trying to eat more protein
4, using HHIAB + my own oil mixtures and trying to moisturize my hair more.
5. Shampooing more
6. TRYING to wear more protective styles. I'm not doing well with the bun challenge.
However, my scalp remains to be dry and a little itchy, but that has gotten a little better too. There are no more flakes that resemble winters in Iceland ... lol
SO, to all the ladies out there on the forum, thanks for the advice and the informative posts!
