I need some definite answers regarding these Rt threads. Why can't we have one in ot? Why are other Rt threads allowed in other areas of the board? Seems line if we specify what type of Rt thread it is then it should be allowed, right?

Lol I actually just sent Beverly a PM asking exactly this. Because I just don't get it. I've seen 4 different RT threads just this morning (pregnancy,nail fanatics,makeup and hair thoughts).

A thread is needed that people can share things that do not require a whole new thread.

beverly can we not have such a thread with the rules of said thread clearly and explicitly stated in the first post so that people stay on track? All this seems a bit draconian and confusing.

I was just glad to have an actual answering instead of wondering and not knowing what's going on or happening.

Many people on the board like that thread so maybe in the future we can find a way to have it and monitor it that doesn't way to heavy on the mods since like you said they have jobs and lives and can't monitor immature adults 24/7(my words not Bev's).

I guess not, because I'm not understanding why the information can't be layed out in one place (ie this thread) so that we can get our questions addressed and answered respectfully. I don't see anything wrong with that at all. Isn't that what this section of the board is for, or did I miss something? We all have the right to express our dissatisfaction as long as we are within forum rules.

gabulldawg you got an answer 2nd hand from me via a pm. Stop the madness because the fact is you, I and everyone else can take our 6.50 elsewhere if we don't like the rules. None of us are forced to be here. As yardyspice would say "go see a therapist" if you wanna drop randomness on someone because its not happening in the OT.

That's all I wanted. I guess that's too much for (paying) members to ask for. I will assume no one should be penalized for rules that we aren't aware of or had to receive second hand.

Smiley79 and gabulldawg it was stated matter fact and also that folks will be penalized for starting them in that last "how you feeling" thread that was going on for a long time. Its not anyones fault ya'll or I missed the memo. Several members had to enlighten me because I started one w/o knowing that other was closed and that was the one where Bev stated the facts. The one that evsbaby started could have been stopped from the giddy up at post #2 but hell I guess Allandra didn't feel like moderating just participating and I'm not mad at her . That was the funniest mess I've ever seen if I must say so my damn self. We are all human but we ain't getting no damn RT in OT because its too much undercover cattiness and too much work for the mod's to handle. They don't have to police those other R/T like they have to in OT. Its been proven time and time again that we ain't gon behave in no RT thread in the OT. Hell I like them too but the truth is the truth. Folks got lives, jobs and better things to do than deal with that nonsense. We can't ack right so it is what it is.

Ya'll wanna start a RT in OT revolt or somethin? I ain't joining it but it would be damn funny. Ya'll forgot that time I ran in all the other R/T threads talkin bout ya'll arse bout to get shut the f dowwwwwnnnnnn. That is when it was explained to me what the differences were so this time I tagged Bev in everyone cuz I knew better than to try that run tell dat mess. I can't play a musical instrument so I'm not really tryin to make the banned not for a 1day or 6dollaz. Let sleeping dogz lie cuz they don't really care about us and our R/T in OT misery.

When I started the bored thread, I was really bored. It was not a random thoughts thread. Though, after a few posts I realised that was what it was turning into but it was not my intention to start one.

So from the evidence presented in here I can surmise it to say that rt threads are not allowed because people are unkind to each other in them. Unless it's really blatant, the biatchiness usually goes over my head so most times I just don't get it.

Though, I do understand and agree that that kind of atmosphere (which is allowed in on other sites, from what I gather) is not at all nice.

I do think people will always start rt threads in ignorance though.

Also, I'm here. I won't be taking my 6:50 anywhere.

Basically, Firecracker answered the question. RT threads in the OT forum have a bad history here. They are difficult to moderate and always get out of hand. They are no longer allowed in the OT forum. Thanks, ladies.
