I gave my dog a bath this Friday. I had no dog shampoo, so I decided to use pantene clarifyer, since it had not done much for me last time. His hair came out sooo shiny and clean! 
I know it's silly, but before I washed him with it, I had put it in my "do not use" pile. After I washed his coat I was like, "I got to give this a second chance!", and I did. It did the same for me as it did for him. I was shocked since it came out dry last time I had used it, granted I had done something slightly different, which probably had a major effect. I don't think I will use it on him again! I guess the moral of my story, is don't give up on a product, because of one bad experience. It might work better the second time around.
