Quick Question...

You ladies that use moisturizers on your hair...Do you only apply it to your ends? Your scalp and ends? Or, all over? Why?

I tried to ask this as a poll but I messed up somewhere...Thanks ladies..

I use moisturizer on all of my hair. Why? Because its all hair and it all needs to be moisturized not just certain parts I do however concentrate MORE on my ends. I'm using MTG for growth but otherwise I dont put anything on my scalp.

Yep, you should moisturize your hair and especially your ends daily depending on your hair type so your hair wont get dry and breack off, your hair needs moisture.
You dont have to put it on your scalp, it depends if your a person that gets a dry scalp, then you should try a light oil.

I moisturize my hair everyday and do so over my entire head. I do pay special attention to the ends becasue for some reason they seem to dry out allot quicker no matter what I do. I'm even learning to take a small bottle of my homeade conditioner concoction (grapeseed and almond oil mixed with suenos) with me so that I can moisturise during the day.

cos i use grease and take an oil supplement my hair is pretty oily, but i scrunch moisturizer in my hair when its damp (all over - more on ends), then when its nearly dry, i add oil on the ends only (well, cheap grease!) and thats that. i do this once every 5 days.

Currently using a safflower oil/glycerin mix on my hair and ends at nite- applying a thin plastic cap and a satin scarf on top. Doing a co-wash in the a.m. and everything is soft and moist- also i use palm oil, coconut oil , pomace b olive oil and castor oil. I also add honey to my shampoos and conditioners/deep conditioners.

I use a lite moisturizer all over my hair but I use heavier moisturizers on the last 3 inches of my ends.

It depends on how my scalp is feeling, but I always moisturize my ends without fail.

I moisturize all of my hair as well. Not just the top layer, but I part it and get in between too.

I moisturize all of my hair once each day and my ends I moisturize in the morning and evening, giving them the most attention.

I moisturize my hair about every 2 days, but I never moisturize my scalp. i feel like my scalp produces it's own oil so i am not going to bother, plus i'm lazy lol. i concentrate on my ends though

I try to moisturize all of my hair but but always concentrate on my ends because they are the oldest and most fragile part of my hair. If my hair begins to break from th ends it will be most noticable.

I mostly moisturize my scalp and ends. Whatever I have left on my hands, I just rub on my hair.
