I am having scalp issues again. Has anyone made a Indian powder rinse and left it on your scalp overnight?

I'm thinking of making a rinse with the scalp cleaners. Than wetting my hair and pouring it on and covering with a plastic cap.

Wash day is tomorrow so i will rinse it out tomorrow.

Does this sound crazy?

That's how I've almost always done mine. I actually make a paste instead of a rinse.

I slept with it too but that's just because I am lazy.

Update.........

Last night i combined amla and olive oil in a cup. Heated this up than pre oiled my hair with this mixture. Added the powders 5 different kinds. with 4 cups of water. Made the tea rinse. Wet my hair with the rinse paying more attention to the scalp. Got up the access rinse. Covered my hair with the plastic cap. Went to bed at 2 am lol.

I did not start my wash process until 4 this afternoon. There where no ill affects i rinsed out the rinse and used Karecare dry itchy scalp. Than Kenra Moist con 20 minutes under dryer. Than AP 2 minute recon.

Thanks to the person that shared what Sareca stated. Using the Moisturizing conditioner than the protein conditioner. My hair ended up soft yet strong.

I think this way is a keeper! But i will know for sure in a few days.

Have you tried tea tree oil for your scalp?
