Quick Question: how do you co wash?

I tried using the search option, but I don't see anything about the actual technique. Someone help, please

you take a rinse out or "instant" conditioner and use it for your wash instead of your shampoo.

I use a cheapie shampoo to do this.. like either a herbal essence hello hydration(but not all the time b/c of the cones in it) or my favorite is Suave milk n honey conditioner. I still shampoo my hair 2x a week and will do a conditioner wash maybe once a week.
