Can you comb a fresh rollerset, to get a looser curl? Like, if you comb if with a wide toothed comb? Or is fingercombing the only option?

I would think that gentle fingercombing would loosen the curl whereas combing with a comb would make the curls fall a lot more.

For me with a fresh rollerset I just tossle it a little with my hands and the curls fall a little on their own. If I comb it out it will look more like your siggie pic (just curled under hair). But it will still have a lot of body either way.

What she said

I combed out a rollerset last night and it straightened way more than I liked, so I threw it back into pigtails :ohwell:

If you want straighter hair, comb it out :yep:

You could saran wrap it to get a looser curl too. When I use a comb to comb out the rollerset, it gets too straight for me.

I saran wrap my rollersets but I also use large gray rollers most of the time. I have not actually been wearing my rollerset hair and rollerset more so to straighten rather than to get a curly look.

I keep it curly and i use my same shower comb with wide teeth to seperate curls.

I like my curls tight because over the next 3-4 days they tend to loosen and fall anyway despite me dry rollersetting them every night.

I really just rake through the curls so that i can blend them a little, and hide the roller marks, and hide my scalp from the hair parting.
