Hi, guys! I want to blow my hair out this weekend for the first time since my BC. Just a quick question: Should I apply my leave in (kimmaytube) AND use a heat protectant? Or just one or the other or possibly neither?

When I blow dry or use heat tools I use both:yep:. I also have already had a protein treatment and DC before heat of any kind.

Cool, I thought maybe using both together would be too heavy. I plan to deep condition (AOHR) but my hair doesn’t seem to respond well to protein. So maybe I’ll skip the protein treatment initially and see how it turns out without it.
Thanks for replying! :bighug:

Yes, use both and you should let your hair air dry 80 to 90 percent to reduce the amount of time your hair is exposed to heat.

And remember the cool shot or low setting is your friend! do not use the highest setting until the end :)

best of luck... and you know we like pitchas!!! take a few of the blow out :)
