Quick perm help...

Hey I am perming my sister's hair 2nite, just the sides she has a close cut mohawk...
anyways I got the elastaqp mild no base formula...
should I still base her? Her hair is about 1/2 inch on the sides and I'm not doing her new growth on the mohawk part yet... hilariously, she is trying to reach SL with the mohawk part so we are doing a stretch with that hair, but the side hair HAS to be permed NOW lol
so should I still base her let me know thanks

Hmm...1/2 Inch. I would say Yes. But I am overly Cautious when it comes to Relaxer Application/Processes.

I Probably would since you are working so close to the Scalp 1/2 inch and it sounds like you don't have any experience with this Particular Relaxer.

Better be Safe than Sorry.
