Hi ladies! I have to blow dry my hair in the next 20 minutes because I have to go to work early in the morning and I dont have time to rollerset and sit under the drier! However, its been so long since I ve blow dried my hair I dont know what ingredients I need to put in my hair. I have already applied a dolop of NTM silk touch leave in and Elasta Qp SILK thermal designing liquid. Is there anything else that I should be using? I am going to blowdry on medium heat and use a denman brush. Im going to have to curl my hair with my ceramic iron as well. This is the most heat I have used on my hair at once in long time!! Help me please!

I usually dab a bit of BioSilk Therapy before I blow dry but I think the other products you put in will suffice. Try blowing with your hair upside-down if you want a little more body.

Good idea! However Im all outta that. I have some STm shine serum that Ill use. Ooh its late I hope this works out okay!

I don't know if you have to wear your hair straight but, if you don't you probably want to consider blow drying your hair 60-80% dry, braiding it up quickly and allowing it to air-dry the rest of the way. This is a cute & easy look to achieve. Good luck!

If you had the time, you should air-dry your hair. Its healthier and less traumatic than blow drying. If you are not careful you can rip your hair out, especially if its thick and course.

pics coming in July!!

Hair goal for 2005: 5 inches past bra strap
I have 4 1/2 inches to go!!!!

Thanks! It worked out really well. I did air dry my hair first. i never blow dry with sopping wet hair. i would say my hair was about 65% dry before I blew it dry on a cool setting with my fingers just to get my hair completely dry and then I blew it straight with my Denman brush and warm setting on the dryer. i didnt lose much hair at all. I am hair freak! I used my beloved Essations supercharged conditioner in for deep treatment so I made sure that my hair would be super soft and STRONG!
I shoud take pictures because I ended up having a really good hair day today!

You should be straight with just a leave in conditioner. I really like Alter Ego Leave in Conditioner for blowdrying. Also try blowdrying in 5 sections: nape, crown, (2) sides, top.

Yes girl! I blew dried in sections. I started and the nape and parted my hair until i got near the corwn. I had about 6-7 sections starting from the nape up. my hair got really smooth on the warm settiing. I thought I would need the hot settiing. Surprise surprise!
