....does it mean that you cannot clarify your hair? I believe my hair could use a good clarifying due to the products I use, but am afraid that it will remove the color from my hair. Is there any other alternative?

Thnaks.

I have highlites, and have clarified, 2 times, since I got them,(3/07) it has not removed the color, unless, the color is a rinse, I really don't believe it is going anywhere, perhaps, some one else, may offer their opinion on the subject, HTH:)

Since I only use semi-permanent color (aka rinses), a little comes out each time I shampoo my hair - no matter what type of shampoo I use.

There should be a clarifying shampoo out there for color treated hair. If you use a regular clarifying shampoo, your color WILL fade...

The same goes for me.

I have color and I clarify with no problem-SO FAR:p . I didn't use a clarifying poo though. I made an apple cider vinegar rinse with filtered water before I retwisted and the color hair looked just as soft and healthy as the new growth. I think you can add acv to regular shampoo and use it to clarify that way.
