Hi
More questions about weaves ladies

-Which hair is better to use: hand sewn weft or machine weft?
-The big curved needle: Have you ever been stuck by it??
-What do you do if it's too tight or hurts your head? Do you have to take it out and pay like $200 again to have it put back in??
-Does it really cost $200 to get it put in plus hair???
-How do you wash all the shampoo out of your real hair? Does the scalp get itchy?
-Which are the best brands for virgin remy hair in medium brown?

Thanks

-Which hair is better to use: hand sewn weft or machine weft?

Didn't matter to me. I'd usually separate the two tracks that make a weft
-The big curved needle: Have you ever been stuck by it??
No, but I remember one time I didn't have a curved needle and used a straight one. I will NEVER do that again
-What do you do if it's too tight or hurts your head? Do you have to take it out and pay like $200 again to have it put back in??
I'm a hair stylist, so I do my own. I usually put a net cap on my head, sew it to a few braids, and sew the wefts to it. I think it is much easier and efficient to do than sewing it fully to your own braids. Stylist should know better not to do a sew in tight, but then again you have stylist that worry more about 'Hair Style' than 'Hair Health'. I would suggest going back to the stylist, to loosen them if you can't do them yourself.
-Does it really cost $200 to get it put in plus hair???
Depends on how much the stylist charges to install it, and depends on the hair you buy. I have a relative that does installs for $80

-How do you wash all the shampoo out of your real hair? Does the scalp get itchy?
Yes the scalp gets itchy, but a solution to that, washed my hair in diluted shampoo with a nozzle bottle. And oiled my scalp with a light oil in a nozzle bottle also.
-Which are the best brands for virgin remy hair in medium brown?
I used Bobbi Boss which worked very well for me. I suggest you go to BHM since they have a lot of info on what is the best hair to use. Make sure you are careful about choosing virgin/human hair. It is only required that hair has 10% human hair in order to be considered on the market meaning, you have some vendors who are selling hair that is virgin human, with virgin horse hair, virgin yak hair, and whatever other type of animal it came from.

I agree with DrC - no real preference. Some people like hand tied coz they say it lies extra flat. I just go with machine weft coz it's easier to find - and cheaper.

-The big curved needle: Have you ever been stuck by it??

Nope. The ones for weaving have blunt tips. If you get stuck you're jabbing way too hard.

I've only ever done my own and prefer a net/net cap, but you should speak up when your stylist is braiding and tell her/him it's too tight. Speak up more than once if you have to. Don't wait till everything's sewn in - by then someone might have pulled clumps of your hair out by the roots.

Depends on what you're looking for. Weaves are offered in every price range from 50 bucks and below to 1000 or more. Just look for stylists in your price range, ask to see pics of their work and again make sure they don't braid too tight.

-How do you wash all the shampoo out of your real hair? Does the scalp get itchy?

Wash in sections, use a detachable shower head and dilute the shampoo if necessary.

-Which are the best brands for virgin remy hair in medium brown?

Hard question coz there are so many brands and vendors. Use google or youtube to find reviews.
