So my boyfriend (of two months) broke up with me about a month ago but I'm so confused!

I've been having career issues trying to transition careers because I can't stand my current profession and I've been trying to figure out my next step. My ex says that since I have been holding in my contempt for my job and not showing him I'm making progress in finding a new job he cannot "emotionally continue" on in this relationship.

He thinks that by being friends we can start over but he hasn't contacted me. What do I do? I don't believe he wants to just be with other women b/c I believe he'd be up front about it.

I just need to be patient but I don't know whether to move on or hold out hope!

Please help ladies thank you so much!

Move on. He's not showing you he's much of a man by ending things with you while you're going through so much stress with your job.
This should let you know for the tough times he wont be there. Just my 2 cents.

I don't even understand what the hell he's talking about
And I'd be pissed at him just giving up on me....but I don't know ya'lls whole story or ur job situation.

Just leave him alone for a while. If he's really into you, then he'll miss you and start coming back after you. If he doesn't, someone else will. But your job right now is to focus all you attention to you and let the background details fall as they may.

Move on. A man who loves you or is into you only will want to SUPPORT you through your career dynamics. He doesn't LEAVE you. He's a DUD. I agree with Blaqueskimo...he's showing you who he is and who he WILL be during the rough stuff. Move on. Not only do you move on...but EXCEL and then give him the GASSS FACE when he tries to get back. He slept on you and doesn't deserve a second chance.

Move on!

Men kill me with that reverse ish. He is trying to make you think its your fault, put the blame on you! He wanted out...to pursue whatever...but he's slick.

He'll put all the blame on you...make you think you're wrong...so when and if he decides to come back. You'll welcome him with open arms...because it was supoosedly "your fault".

Don't fall for it...please!!

It's only been two months and he's showing you that you can't count on him to be there when you need him.

Plus, he hasn't contacted you, yet it was his idea to start over. His actions are telling you to move on.

Another vote for moving on. I also think he is not worthy of your friendship. Except the change in season and just move on.

 :perplexed WTF does that mean??? That's about the craziest BS I've heard in a while. Are you really considering holding onto any hope for this man?? I know it's hard to face (believe me, I've been there), but please let this loser go. :nono:

AND I wouldn't be surprised if it was about another woman. The grass is alllllllways greener on the other side. Most men aren't going to just come out and tell you they want to pursue someone else. Particularly a man who is willing to walk out on you when you need him the most. :nono:

Are you serious? No...Really...

The question you really should be asking is, Why in the heck would you even consider holding on to someone who left you high & dry during your time of need?

Get real and move on...

ETA: And HELL NO! I would not be friends with him.

His "reason" was lame. You need to move on and not waste anymore time on him. He has shown you exactly where he stands. He'll leave you when things get a lil' difficult..you don't need that.

*** dude--HE SHOULD BE THERE FOR YOU DURING YOUR TIME OF NEED---2 months he should be on his best behavior---

on to the next one--i got a million ways to get it..
he said he cant emotionally continue--well guess what--take yo sensitive/emotional *** and KIM--lol

two months diva--release him stat

What?!? So he is basically leaving you cause you're going through hard times? But he wants to be your friend?
Just move on. Focus on getting your career straight and then you can focus on finding a better man.

Kick him to the curb. You want a man to be with you through the good times AND the rough times.

HAHAHA! Why did I post this half hoping you all would say "oh give him space he'll come back". LMAO! Thank you ladies for bringing me back to reality! I was at work today reading these and I thought, I don't have a man but doesn't mean my job is any better! Thank you so much, wish me luck on the job hunt!!!

They say that when someone asks for advice, most likely they already know the answer. I think you already knew he is not right but you really like him- I can understand that. You'll be better off without him. Good luck with your jub hunt!!
