So, I just washed and deep cond. my hair and their are tangles everywhere. Detangling is such a hard task for me because my hair is very thick. What can I do to help get the tangle out??:look:

Use a moisturizing conditioner if you're able to add some olive oil to it and let it sit for at least an hour. Comb hair with conditioner in. Rinse out standing under shower. Hair should be easy to manage. HTHs

This is what has helped me tremendously...

-washing in big twists and detangling.
-oil rinses. I like to do one before shampooing, others like to do it after shampooing. Its up to the individual.
-detangling on wet hair loaded with conditioner under the shower head.

I agree with Brownskin......

This year, I've started to wear my hair in box braids and twists...when I wash my hair while it's still braided..I don't have any breakage. I may have 2 or 3 strands in the shower, but that's it. After you wash your hair, you can take them out and style as usual.
