What do you do to your hair at night besides cover it. Do you wrap it before hand? Tie it in a bun? I wonder how y'all do it, and what I should do when I get there!

If I'm wearing a protective style, I'll usually use a moisturizer as needed and leave it in that style.

If I'm wearing my hair down, I'll do the mohawk set or pin curl.

Right now I'm in a baggie. So all I do is tie it up in a scarf and go to bed. In the morning...I throw on a phony and twist that into a bun. If it's straight...then I wrap it by overlapping each side then put on my scarf. In the morning take the scarf down and my hair falls in place. Sometimes I put my moisturizer on the ends before I wrap it.

I either wrap it and tie with satin scarf, or I leave straight, tie w/ scarf with hair hanging out back, then put on a satin bonnet over hanging hair.

I pull my hair back like I'm going to put it in a ponytail and just twist it and pin it up. Also, I'll put it in a baggie bun. I always cover my hair w/ some type of satin headwear.

I'm not quite yet at bra-strap, but I have become very lazy. If I have my hair out during the day, I'll sleep with my hair out. If I have my hair in a ponytail, I'll sleep in a ponytail.

For a while, I'd just been putting it in a loose bun or braid and covering w. my satin scarf. But for the past few mths or so, I've been braiding my hair and again, covering w. my satin scarf. :yep:

I have become lazy as well and my hair is paying for it. I use to sleep with a bonnet on every night but since I am like an inch from brastrap I just don't do what I should do. I rarerly use protective styles anymore and my hair is so dry now. I started last night to recommitting to taking care of my hair. I will be getting some tree braids on July 3rd so waist length here I come.

I am past bra-strap, but I either braid my hair in 3 big cornrows to maintain a braidout, do Sylver2's scarf method, do pin curls, or just twist it up. Since I am transitioning, wrapping my hair is completely out due to the new growth, but before I started transitioning, I would wrap my hair everynight.
