Do you use a roller at the crown of your hair or no? I started w/out the roller but now I put the roller... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

My domincan friend in college used to wrap it that way.. try it and see if you like it...

I do(when I wrap...which I don't do nightly anymore) I like it cause it also gives my hair some body(it doesn't look as flat). It also helps my hair(in my opinion) wrap smoother.

Vevster,

I don't wrap my hair as often as I used to. When I first learned to wrap my hair, I didn't use a roller in the crown. My hair was shorter then, and it was easier to wrap. When I wrap now, I definitely use a roller in the crown. IMO, it makes my hair easier to wrap when I use a roller at the crown.

[/ QUOTE ] Why didn't I think of that? I'm not good at wrapping at all, and the hair in the middle of my head would make wrapping my hair even harder. Thanks for the tip. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I tried that once before but the roots came out somewhat puffy. How many rollers do you use and what size? I'm going to wash and wrap my hair tonight so I may give the roller one more try.

I have tried this, but my crown area takes a lot of rollers, so instead I put it in a bun and wrap the rest. I get really great results with this method. the bunned hair has a bit of a bend in it so there is plenty of body, and the wrapped hair resists shrinkage. This is one of my favorite wet sets. I don't wrap every night though. I tend to either bun all of it or pin it on top of my head before putting on my scarf to for bed.

Thanks. I think maybe the last time I tried, I used too many rollers. I'll give it a try tonight and let you guys know how it turned out. Cross your fingers for me /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
