Question: For my pre-poo, should I apply oils 1st or Deep Con 1st w/ oils on top?

It will be on damp hair, saran wrapped overnight.

The first time I did it, I did the oils first and my hair was SUPER soft and shiny and detangled. Will be pre-pooing again this weekend and just wondered if I was doing it right.

Which comes first? The oils or the con? :)

TIA!

Diva you can do either or, i do my prepoo with oil first, then wash and dc with oil, then rinse. I can't remember the threads name but some ladies dc first then wash and they liked how thier hair came out. Ill try and dig up the thread for you.

I think you can do it either way and still get great results. I like to mix my oil with the conditioner and warm them in the microwave for 30 secs. When I apply to my hair it's nice and warm. I place a cap on my hair for an hour and rinse. I like to try different ways to see what I prefer but the end results mainly stay the same.

That sounds good! I usually heat my oils but hadn't thought about heating the con too! :) Thanks!
