Well, I use both of these products but for different things. I use a little Aveda Elixir every morning before making my ponytail. It's a leave-in but it dries quickly and can be a little sticky if you use too much.
It is also good at detangling and giving curl enhancement to my natural hair. I don't like it too much on my relaxed hair - so that is something to think about.
Biolage Leave-In works excellent on both hair textures. It detangles, softens - seems to really condition.
If you're trying to decide on one, I'd get the Biolage Leave-In! Also, you can dilute the Biolage by half and get the same results.
In that case, no...I don't think Aveda would be a good investment for you. However, if you're still interested, I think most Aveda stores have small travel sizes. You could try that!
