Question for Hair Greasers

Ladies,

How long does it take for hair grease to be absorbed into the scalp once it has been applied?

I don't think most of it gets absorbed into the scalp...I think most of the grease/oil gets dispersed down the hair shaft through combing and manipulation.

Hmmm...I'd say about three hours or so, at least it was like that for me when I used to use.

I grease my ends at night and put my satin scarf on i have been doing this for years with no problems. Its shiney in the morning. Recently at the beginning of the year i stopped using grease althogher and tried using oils. Oils did not work for my hair because when i started going to the gym again the oil was all over the head rest i was so embarrassed cuz a guy pointed it out to me. I quickly went back to a little grease on the ends so i dont have to worry about leaving a mess but i still use oils in my conditioner for deep treatments. My hair loves grease!
