True Confessions? Okay, Yeah, i'll fess up, i'm a scalp greaser, with mt, mn mix, sulfur oil, mtg or whatever combo i happen to make. my big prob, i don't know when enough is enough, so i'm heavy-handed and come out looking like a slick cat by the head....then i'm like, "oh, did i use too much?!?" Don't judge me.

Ease up on the grease! :lachen:

It helps me to put a little bit of oil/moisturizer on my finger each time. This prevents me from having a greasy overload of product in my hair/on my scalp.

i stopped putting things on my scalp since joining this board.....my scalp is the healthiest its ever been

no flakes.......constant itchiness etc.......

the frequent washes helped i'm sure......

i only put oil on my scalp when i do a pre-poo......other than that i avoid ANYTHING on my scalp thats not a shampoo

How often do you wash your hair? I only wash my hair once a week, so in between washes I feel like my scalp/hair needs the extra help.

Yes, I grease my scalp sometimes. I use Nature's Blessings or Almond Oil.

:yep:

I just started using this again on my new growth after another recommendation in a different thread.

Yes, I HAVE to especially in winter. Healthier hair in a Bottle oil spray or anything else natural that I can find like AvoCoco Cream.

Yes, I grease my scalp after many years of being told it's bad. And I must say that my shedding is GREATLY reduced. It's crazy. I use Nature's Blessings. Also, my NG is much easier to manage when I use good old-fashioned grease. I also use it on my ends.

Is that the cream or the oil? I used to use the cream on my scalp and hair.

Its like a grayish kinda color, not cream but a mixture of jojoba, coconut, olive oil in the yellow applicator bottle. lol

Occasionally with Posner Bergamot when my hair "stinks" and I have no time to wash it.
I wear about 14 french braids get it re-braided every 2 weeks, I recently noticed when it smells the more grease bergamont green or blue masks the odor for a little while. For the O P, I grease with everything ORS olive and carrot...liquid oils Alma, Olive etc. and bergamonts. My hair is use to it since I was little. Never had a problem with growth or clogged pores or if I did it never stopped my hair from growing.

Your hair looks yummy in your siggy!

Yes I do. What I use depends though. I have sulfur 8, nature's blessing, and my castor oil/mt mix that I use. Q
