I forget what they're called. I see them in the BSS all the time, on the box they usually have an image of a woman with one of the paper sheets wrapped around her edges, and I've heard of people using them on their ends (?) when rollersetting. What are they? And how do they help in styling? I'd really like to know. TIA. :)

I don't know you might be talking about the roller papers. You put it on your ends when rolling hair to prevent drying out the ends. I haven't tried it, so don't quote me on it:)

There are endpapers used with rollers, small & short
There are wrap papers to go around the whole head, longer

They are called Sanex strips. They are used primarily to hold a wet wrap's shape. Some people cut them and use them for endwraps.

Yeah intially they were/are neck strips that barbers/stylist wrap around your neck before putting on a cape to control moisture and protect you from the cape. Stylist were using them on hair to hold it in place as it dried so they came out with some called wrap strips that are a little larger and stretch better w/o breaking. I used to use them when I was relaxed and wrapped my own hair.

could someone post pics of these end papers please,,, i'm reallly interested in using them next time

For a wrap or endpapers for a rollerset?

Great responses ladies, thanks! :) I don't wrap my hair, so I think I'll use them when I start rollersetting.

Thanks again!

They assist in smoothing the edges and prevent frizzies when you roller or rod set. They have been around for ages.
