Question about protiens and silk proteins.....

After reading some threads, it is suggested to coat new growth with silk proteins and add a capful of protein to your relaxers. Now my question is, is this all to much, meaning will it prevent the relaxer from doing it's job which is to relax my curls? I don't want to do to much. Thanks.

I really couldn't tell a for sure answer, but I do know proteins can revert a relaxer. If you wanted a texlax feel I do think you would mind, but if you wanted it straight I think it's a problem.

Really, I don't know of brands. what I do know is that you can get straight silk protein from lotioncrafter.com under proteins. then you can add it to anything or use it straight. It was on Navs thread about silk proteins and there benefits.
