Question About Colouring Hair

I know they say you should wait two weeks to color your hair after getting a relaxer. I want to colour the front of my hair purple which means that I would have to bleach it. Do I still wait two weeks or should I wait longer?

i would wait a little longer and make sure you dc you hair often before you color. i went darker, but i waited a month.

Lol!! You sound just like me four years ago!! When I told my hairdresser I wanted to go purple she began heavy deep conditioning a month before she applied the bleach. I was one month post relaxer. Luckily for me my hair in the front is of a stronger more resilient grade so it took to the bleaching well. I seriously recommend you start incorporating light protein and lots of moisture to prevent frizziness and damage. And, just cuz I love drooling over hair,
