I just bought one from CVS. I'm going out tonight, and I don't feel like roller setting it and sitting under the dryer. Even with the air conditioner, its too hott for all of that.
So, I was gonna purchase the 100% ceramic plated iron, but then I decided against it because it may encourage me to use direct heat whenever I don't want to set my hair.
Enough rambling. Are ceramic coated irons just as "safe" as pure ceramic? Or do they try to get you by advertising it as ceramic when its really no different than the gold plated one?
