I've been using Queen Helene's Cholesterol (Regular version) for years upon years. It's my deep conditioneing staple. I mix it with oils or blackstrap molasses and use it with heat under the dryer. It also works great when used alone. No other Cholesterol cream has worked better on my hair.
I also love Queen Helene's Hot Oil (JOJOBA). Of all the formulations (Ginseng, Placenta, Cholesterol), I think the Jojoba Oil is the best. At least for my hair. The Placenta Hot Oil, for example, makes my hair hard.
Back in the day, I used to use the Queen Helene Shampoos but as I became more savvy concerning ingredient lists, I stopped using them. I can't remember what ingredients they contain, but something in the QH Shampoos is not good for MY hair.
I like Queen Helene's Mint Julep Facial Masque, though.
It seems to really draw stuff out of your pores.
Whats the difference between the QH deep conditioner and Lekair deep condtioners, im thinking of trying one of the two, i thought they had the same ingredients, which is better?. I use pantene mostly.
Darkchild, I highly reccomend the LeKair, if you try the green one with aloe you will love it, it will make your hair super soft. I used it for the first time last week and fell in love with it, and you know aloe is da bomb.
I have to agree that the queen helene's mint julep facial is wonderful, I have been using this product for over 3 years.
I used the hot oil ( placenta) treatment for the firs time last week it was ok= i like that it is a reusable tube that you can re seal. I have med length hair do not require the whole tube. every lit bit of saved money helps
