I love the texture and color of this product. The smell, eh, I'm not to crazy but I think I can deal with it for some supple ends... I just put a little on my hair to wrap it -- hope I didn't put too much on.

Except for the smell, I do like it. I think the Olive n Heavy Cream would be to heavy for my hair -- this cream is VERY emollient.

vevster, are you relaxed or natural?

i love the texture too, smooth and creamy  it doesn't have much of a smell to me, very subtle.

I love this stuff! It keeps my ends really moist. I actually have started to like the smell.

I just got mine yesterday.... getting used to the smell. Figuring out how to use it. I mixed some with some aloe vera gel and used on damp hair. My hair is soft (very soft, actually!) and not greasy. Since I have learned that my hair is fine, I need to use lighter products. Probably don't need to use so much....

I just got some of this as well. I really like it. It's the first thing I've ordered from Qhemet and I might get more.

At first I was worried that I wouldn't like it, b/c everyone was going on about the Amla & Olive Oil cream and how the Sidr Tree butter balm probably wouldn't be heavy enough for them. But I'm a 4a and it works great for me. I can avoid wetting my hair for days (when in a pony puff) b/c it's leaves the ends of my hair soft and moisturized.

It did smell funny to me at first, but like someone else said the smell kind of grew on me (and I've only had it for about 2 weeks). I think the MSM sulfur might be why it smells a little weird at first.

That's it! I'm ordering this ASAP! I like that it is formulated for fine hair...it should work well for me.

Edited: Someone stocked up on this product from CurlMart and now they are sold out! Well, if it's as good as the reviews say it is then I don't blame peeps from buying it out. ;)

I love, love, love this stuff! I have very thick, relaxed 4a hair and I love what this does for my hair. I applied it to my dry hair and did a mowhawk rollerset. Ehen I took my hair down the next morning my hair was soft and shiny/ I was supried it was not weighed down.

I have the Alma & Olive oil cream as well but I have not tried it yet. I love the Sidr balm so much I ordered another jar today.

Ok... (sigh).... I used this two days ago and my hair feels greasy. I spritzed it in the evening before bed, but it feels the same as it did two days ago. Is this yet ANOTHER confirmation that my hair does not want to deal with butters/oils, at least directly? I think I even mixed it with some aloe vera gel.

The same thing happened with some avocado butter I recently purchased from From Nature With Love. That's nearly $30 that could have gone into the GAS TANK!

Sigh....

thanks for the reviews lady.

RelaxedRehab...You sure are right about the gas tank!

I'm relaxed. Sorry I took so long to answer your question!

I want to try this. Is the smell overpowering? Like does it go away, or does it stay all day? Do people ask, what is that smell?
The smell fades. I don't smell it minutes after applied.

I could take the heavy cream off your hands for you, lol. ;) I've been meaning to try it for my coarse hair. . .
