Qhemet Biologics--Product Amount Decrease

I mean I agree with Qhem, she is Right in there with everyone else selling natural hair products, I mean if we complain about her stuff then we might as well complain about others. I mean Naturallady is selling an 8oz. for like $14 or $12 something like that but add in shipping and you have spent about $20 on (1 )8oz.Bottle which is what I did and I am not complaining. But then you have Blended Beauty which have a 8oz Happy Nappy Styles for like $15 Like Qhem said above.

I don't mind paying for Good Quality Products & If it wasn't for Qhem and her Heavy Cream my Natural Journey would have been a mess because my Hair don't like Shea Butter, (even though I tried to force it to) LOL!!!!!

 shelli4018, MissVee, TropicalRose, NappyParadise, HoneyDew ...thanks guys for addressing some of the concerns.

Hi HoneyDew - The 8 oz. jar of the Sidr Tree Butter Balm cost 16.00. As you probably know, it was previously only available in the 4 oz. size for 10.00. The formula hasn't changed. :)

Welcome to the board! I LOVE your products. The Sidr Tree Butter Balm has totally changed the way I care for my hair. I use it has a leave in and I went from cronically dry hair to cronically OVERmoisturized hair. :D That is much easier to deal with than breakage from dryness. Thanks!!!

I have been wanting to try the Sidr Butter but I am so hooked on the Heavy Cream, it leaves my Hair very soft and for days I might add.

VWVixxen gave me a sample of the Heavy Cream and I think they are quite similar. The Heavy Cream is heavier but I got the same results using it as a leave-in. I think I will continue to purchase the Sidr Tree Butter Balm because I do like the consistancy, or at least I have gotten used to it. I think both can give similar results, though.

Qhem, thanks so much for stopping by to address questions/concerns. You see..that type of customer service and attention to detail is what makes me want to support your company even more.

Also I'm friggin' amazed that you do EVERYTHING yourself. Good grief!!

BTW, I have your sampler pack as well as a big jar of Heavy Cream. They're great.

Qhem, I am so glad that you're now part of this forum. Your products were instrumental in helping my hair when I decided (after being natural for about 4 years) that it was high time to take care of my hair. I had always worn it in braids and hidden it, not wanting to deal with it. When I stopped wearing breads nonstop I hated my hair. I wished that the texture was looser and not so kinky and highly coiled.

I joined this forum in the hopes of learning what to do for my hair and I heard rave reviews of your products. So I tried them, and what can I say? I've been using them for almost a year and half and I have no complaints.

The only thing is - say it's not so - the Olive Cream is no longer in a bottle form? :( I loved that pump!!! Actually I just ordered it and it is supposed to come on Monday! Me and my hair cannot wait!!!!!!!

I would have PM'd you, but I wanted to publicly declare my love for your products. I've tried many things but QB is the only thing that remains constant for my hair. Thank you for the time and care you put into your work and your excellent customer service!! :notworthy :notworthy

I also love Qhem's products. Quite honestly, I hate shipping cost!!! But I'll pay what ever for quality products that actually make a difference in my hair.

Qhem, keep doin' your thang!

where do you girls purchase the Qhemet Biologics products? I live in Europe and I'm trying to order it but they only ship it inside the U.S.:( . What can I do?

Just wanted to clear up some confusion.

An announcement regarding the packaging changes was posted on the website at the beginning of February.

There were some concerns that the sizes decreased but the prices remained the same. :nono:

The 12 oz. jar of the Heavy Cream was 17.00 after the September 06 hiatus. The new 8 oz. size is 16.00 which reflects a price decrease.

The old 12 oz. Olive Cream Detangler was 16.00. The new 8 oz. Olive Cream Detangler is 14.00. The 14.00 cost reflects a price decrease.

The old 12 oz. jar of the Honeybush Gel was 16.00. The new 8 oz. jar is 14.00 which reflects a price decrease as well.

Only 3 products were available in the 12 oz. size.

Hi grnidmonster - The price and size of the 4 oz. and 8 oz. Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm hasn't undergone any changes.

Once my stock of 4 oz. bottles runs out, the product will only be available in the 8 oz. size and will be repackaged in 8 oz. jars. The price will remain the same at 16.00.

As with the Olive Cream, customers have requested that the Hydrating Balm be packaged in a jar instead of a bottle for better ease of removal.

 shelli4018, MissVee, TropicalRose, NappyParadise, HoneyDew ...thanks guys for addressing some of the concerns.

Comparison pricing indicates that similar natural hair care companies (Oyin, CD, Blended Beauty, Curls, Myhoneychild, Naani, Curl Junkie etc) offer 8 oz. products for 16.00 as well so QB's pricing is within range. :)

If you guys have more questions or concerns, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].

Warmest Regards.

Thanks for the post Qhem. I feel like a paid commercial sometimes because I am always talking about how much your products have changed how I care for my hair. I love the Olive and honey hydrating balm! if I didnt have it, I would look like a dirty cotton ball. Bless you, Qhem.

This thread made me revisit my bottle of Olive Cream Conditioning Instant Detangler and I have to admit, I like this bottle it's in. I use the Sidr Tree Butter balm in the new 8 oz tub and that is fine as my leave in. But I like this bottle of Olive Cream Conditioning Instant Detangler for squirting out just the right amount for a little daily moisture. Oh well, I will get over it, I guess. :)

I love my Qhemet products. I use the Olive Cream Detangler and the Alma & Olive Heavy Cream.

The only gripe I've had with the bottle (Cream Detangler) was that the pump would get stuck after pumping it once. I would have to twist off the top in order to "release" the the pump. Yeah, it gets annoying, but the benefits of the product make me not even worry about that pump. As long as the cream detangler keeps doing what it's doing, I'm good.

You must have a bad pump. I've never had that happen.

Bump I found this thread to be very informative. I will be placing an order this Friday. :)

ETA: Has anyone tried their Soap of Alep?

I have tried it and I like it. I don't like shampoos so this works just great and you can use it for your skin I think even facial for acne. Qhem can correct me on that one.

I like that it does not strip the hair to me and it is all natural ingredients. It is great for travelling with I don't have to take a bottle conditioner with me when I go on business trips.

Any ladies that use the Olive and honey hydrating balm............How do you use this? It's different in texture and I am curious if it's more like a leave-in or a styling product. I was guessing moisturizing but I am not sure now. TIA.

HoneyDew......I am loving the Sidr Tree!

I use the Honey Balm and to me it is more of styling product than a leave-in I apply a tiny bit after I apply the Heavy Cream it gives it a look like it is full of sheen. I don't even apply it everyday I will spritz it with distilled water to re-activate. It looks just like Honey and comes out like honey without the stickiness LOL!!!

Thanks so much for this review. It does look like it is sticky so I was curious about putting that in my hair straight. I have tried it yet. I will wash my hair and try it out tomorrow. I just wanted to know exactly how you all used it. Thanks again.

You're Welcome let us know how it comes out for you, it only takes a little bit, it is just so neat that it looks and pour out like honey LOL!!!!!

I love this stuff! I use it as a leave-in and a styling agent. For me it gives my hair shine and slip. Caution though-last summer I found that it attracted alot of bees. Makes sense but, it was a little frightening initally:lachen:

Thanks grnidmonster. I am excited to try it out now.
giggles....Dang about the bees. Thanks for the advance warning!

I'm a new found fan of these products!! I ordered the sample pack and LOVED every product in it. Hydrating balm and the Heavy Cream are now staples of mine. I even use the Hydrating balm as a moisturizer for my feet. Thanks Qhem from creating such a great product!!!!!! :-)

I just read this thread in its entirety...I have to say that I'm ready to re-visit these products again especially the Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm. I noticed on the site the picture that is shown is the one that comes in the bottle...I'm glad that it is going to now come in jars...I still have about 1/4 or less left in a bottle that I was unable to use because it was hard to get it out. :perplexed I love the Sidr Tree Butter too but I usually order that from CurlMart and they stopped carrying it. :(

I too use to order it from curlmart and they stopped carrying the whole line but they now sell it at www.curlicious.com but they seem to always be out of the Heavy Cream, so I just ordered from her site and it took 6 days but that was okay, I don't use it too much anymore because it is not working for my hair like it use to and plus I am trying to find products I can buy in a BSS that will work LOL!! & so far I have done that with S-Curl or Designer Touch Spray!

I CW daily or every other day and Qhemet Biologics is too expensive for me to wash out everyday LOL!!! So I use it for when I am going somewhere special!
