Since thanksgiving has come and gone, we have a few cans of pumpkin pie mix in the can and I was thinking, maybe pumpkin would be a good strengthening treatment for hair. Have any of you ladies tried this?

ive seen this brand that has a pumpkin treatment and i always want to try it

I add canned pumpkin (it says 100% pumpkin on the label) to my coconut milk, yogurt, cream of coconut hair masque. Additional ingredients are molasses, egg, marshmallow root powders, honey and coconut oil. It is a wonderful hair masque -- soft, strong, silky hair and tremendously loosened curls. I've been doing it about 10 weeks now. I got the idea from the HSH line. I like the pumpkin potion leave-in and was going to buy the pumpkin conditioner at TJ Maxx, but just decided to make my own since I am always whipping up masques and DCs in my kitchen.

If your speaking of the one you can find in salons (i found in wal-mart salon on sale/but still paid too much) it's by Healthy Sexy Hair line i got the treatment and the leave-in & my hair seems to laugh at them.

OP: Personally, If I were going to do it, I would probably just used Canned Pumpkin instead of Pumpkin Pie Filling (Mix) because of the Added Ingredients.:ohwell:

And then I would probably add maybe Honey or Molasses, EVOO etc......

But I am not into mixing stuff anymore. I do have the HSP Mask. So, You are right on Point with that one.
