Protein/Moisture Balanced Leave In Spray??

Do you ladies use a good balanced leave in spray to use throughout the week?

@yodie, I don't use anything (leave-in) when in twists really. If I have been wearing my twists in a style and need to change it, because they tend to take the shape of whatever style I had them in, then I have to get them wet to be able to reshape them or to have them hang properly.

I have an ACV spritz that I use when I don't feel like dunking my head in a basin after a wash and I might use that to wet my twists to reshape them. Otherwise if I want to wear them hanging down, that would not be enough so I CW and let them drip-dry to wear down.

I've never my hair loose in winter and S Curl is the only product I've used in summer when I've worn my hair loose but I've heard glycerin is drying in winter and because that's the only leave-in I use, I can't be of any help.

People doing the C&G used to use Infusium 23 as their leave-in and applied it with a sponge...so maybe that could work for you (It's both protein and moisture)? I think if I were to try a leave-in on braids or twists, I think I'd use that...just coz it's wet and I don't feel like it'd be sticky like other products. I imagine it'd wash off easily too. If my hair were loose, I'd be watching this thread if S Curl didn't work coz there isn't anything else I can think of that would give the slip I get from S Curl that allows easy combing--and I MUST comb my hair if loose. I think I'd just end up braiding my hair coz if I'd need moisture in air for S Curl not to dry my hair in winter, then that means I'd have to keep spritzing my hair and keeping it fully shrunken which would just be more work for me.

I don't know why y'all just don't live the easy life of being in twists that I live.

Thanks Nonie. I'm twisting underneath a wig right now. I've also been baggying throughout the week. My hair was almost too soft. I saw alot of those little circular ends come off in the shower. I used AO GPB, but I think I need to use a 'balanced' spritz throughout the week or not baggy as often.

I love SCurl for moisture. Awesome! I'm scared to dunk my head in ACV. I think my hair will turn out dry and crispy.

Funny you mentioned Infusium. I have some 10 year old Infusium sitting underneath my sink. I think I'll pitch this and just get a new bottle today.
I'm rocking a wig/protective style until I can wear twist outs like you. (Smile)

how about watering down gpb and adding your favorite oil for a little more moisture in a spray bottle?

I usually water down whatever creamy leave in I'm using, put it in a spray bottle with or without EVOO and i'm set

I looove this stuff i have like 4 unopened bottles cause im afraid of running out i have 4z natural hair and it makes and keeps my hair soft and moisturized wether i put it in dry or wet hair. its a liquid but its kinda creamy also. Hands down its the best leave in ive ever used and if you check my product list in the Use up your stash challenge you will see that i have the right to brag about it cause ive tried alot of leave ins

I have a mix of Mane & Tail braid sheen spray and Infusium 23 leave in (repair & renew) on my hair right now. I mixed them in a large spray bottle.
