Hey I'm new to this board so for my first post I am going to ask...for the ladies with hair that reaches the bottom of their necks what kind of protective styles are you doing? I try to make a bun but its not quite there and I'm so tenderheaded....thank you in advance ladies.

My hair is the length of yours! I'm in the same boat. Since Jan. 1st I have been doing a braid-out and pinning it up into a french roll, and letting some hair hang down in the front. I get a lot of compliments plus it's keeping my hair from brushing against my clothing. Since doing this my hair has grown 1/2 an inch- along w/ Surge and vitamins. Hope this helps.

My hair is about this length and the braidout is a great option. I pin it up like candie does whenever the results are so-so. Ive gotten compliments on it too! Otherwise, I make a small pony tail and tuck the ends into the ponytail holder so the hair looks like a loop instead of a loose tail. Sometimes, I put my phonytail bun over this.

When my hair was that length... that's exactly what I did too. The ponytail loop or french roll.
