Hi ladies! I have been a member of this board for a few years, but never posted anything. I just like to read all of your posts and look at some of the pics to get different ideas. I finally decided to join in on the fun here after so long of being quiet! Well here is my question. I had cut off my past shoulder length hair back in 08/2006 to a pixie short hair cut. I started to let it grow out a couple of months ago, so now it has grown to the top of my ears. I wanted to know what protective hairstyles have any of you ladies used or are using for this sort of phase. I really don't want to get braids because my hairline is the weakest part of my hair. Hope somebody can help me.

hey shortdub78, All I can say is that my hair is short and on top of it being short, I stretch. All that equals to is no style that looks good. And what it also meant was Self, you need to wear a wig. So that's what I did while babying my God given hair. see my album for ideas:
