protective style wearers do you feel like you are missing out?

I never feel like Im missing out on anything...buns are a convenience now with the added bonus of retaining length... I wear my hair out when I want...which for me, is not too often, because when I DO wear it out, it gets caught in everything, purse straps, doors, etc. So I just prefer a bun these days.

On those rare occasions when I wear my hair down, I end up pulling it back and braiding it before the day is over. No protective styling doesn't make me feel like I'm missing anything, it's right up my alley.
