I currently have relaxed APL hair ( Very thin strands), and it is a must to use a bristle brush to get it wrapped up properly, can I get any suggestions on the proper "Type" of brush (bristles) to use to accomplish this, I do use a Denman first, but that tends to leave it to loose, in turn, it continues to fall before I can get the scarf on.
Thanks Ladies!

When I wrap my hair, I use a boar hair brush. You can pick one up for only a few dollars.

I use my Denman and use long bobby pins to hold it in place until I get the scarf on, then gently slide the pins from under the scarf.

Thank You ladies, I will be running out to get that particular brush Today! And Soulie that is a great Idea, never thought of that!
Thanks again!

I use my jilbere comb to wrap my hair, if you must use a brush, I suggest you buy the goody jojoba infused brush (its a great brush, won't rip out your hair), a soft boar bristle brush is another option.

However if you want to make an investment is an expensive brush. I would suggest the mason pearson brushe; I don't personally own one, but when I use my friend's I am half tempted to put it in my pocket, :lachen:

Well I use this Diane Royal Satin Oval Paddle Brush...

Thanks Ladies, You Girls are great, so many suggestions, I love this board, Go LHCF!

I use an all wooden bristle brush. I have also seen a wooden bristle mixed with boar bristles. Looks kind of interesting, thinking about getting it for my children. I buy mine from TJ Maxx 5.99

I don't like the bristle brush, because it seems a little to harsh on relaxed hair... Like it will strain the strands more...

I absolutely LOVE the good jojoba infused brush! It's so delicate, even on my natural hair!

I have the Copper Infused Goody Brush and i love it!!!! Not one hair in the brush when i wrap. I then use a boar brush to keep it tight. The Goody brush was 10 and the boar brush was 2.. both from Walmart. :)

I use a paddle brush followed by a natural boar bristle brush to smooth it down.
