What products from the profective line do you fine are the best? I've never used any of their products and I've been hearing a lot of rave about them so I'm thinking about giving them a try since I am in need of a new moisturizer. Also, with the Profectiv Long 'N Healthy Anti-Breakage Strengthening Mega Moisturizer(I think I've read some discussion about that)It says that it is water free. How can it moisturize if it is water free?

My favs are Healthy Ends and Root Health. I really want to try the 3 in one oil that you shake up. Does anyone have any reviews?

My favorite is the Mega Growth. It really stops the hair from shedding. I used this when my hair was relaxed and shedding/breaking. I'd put it on my ends and put my hair in a protective style, and within a week or so, my hair was healthy again. This is one product that actually does what it says. I still use it on my natural hair. This is my staple.

Thanks Nacai23! How does it stop breakage? Does it contain protein? If so, couldn't that be harmful after a while? How long have you been using it? Is it a moisturizer as well? Sorry for all the questions! hehe.

You're not asking too many questions. It stops breaking by penetrating and remoisturizing deep inside the hair. It does contain keratin and wheat protein. I've been using it for about two years now. It is a wonderful moisturizer. Here's the ingredients off the jar that I have:

Soybean oil, water, horsetail, sage, and nettle extracts, laneth 15, lanolin, steareth-2, steareth-20, polyquaternium-37 & proplene glycol dicarprlate/dicaprate &PPg-1 trideceth-6, Phenyl rimethicone, Dimethicone, Collagen, Keratin, Wheat protein, Panthenol, DMDM hydantoin, corn oil & BHA&BHT, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, fragrance.

As far as the protein goes, I haven't had any problems with this. I always make sure that I clarify with my apple cider vinegar every two months. I do this whether or not I use this.

I like the healthy ends, it's very moisturizing. It's a little heavy to apply only a little and rub it together in my hands then apply to my ends, it's also good at keeping my hair smooth. The root health is very good for keeping the new growth soft. I just purchased the new leave in but I haven't used it enough to really tell yet.

I like Healthy Ends and Mega Growth. I also like to use the one in the purple tub that has the thinner consistency after shampooing.

I use the Healthy Ends. It's funny cause I just started using this and I've had the jar for almost a year! It was one of my PJ splurges. I can't find the 3in1 oil anywhere near me. I'm probably going to have to find a BSS in Detroit to try to find it. It is very thick and you only need a little. You might try going to the Profective website and answering their little questionnaire and they will send you a free sample according to your hair's needs. I did this a few weeks ago, but I'm still waiting to see what they send me. I'm hoping for the 3in1 but I'll be happy for whatever they send.

I finally found the 3 in 1 at sallys after a very exhaustive search.. I just had to wait for it to come in so It'll probably be in your area soon... I'm in Manchester,CT so I know you'll get it soon at the sally's near you where ever you are.

I love all of profectiv's stuff..I have the pink and the yellow...They both do the same IMO.... I like the oil too.. it moisturizes nicely.

So far,I have only used the Breakfree but I love it...thatz the leave-in that can be applied daily. I've been using it for the past two weeks and its done a great job at keeping my hair soft and moisturized.

I JUST STARTED USING THE PRTECTIVE ANTI-THINNING CREAM. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY REULTS YET BECAUSE IT'S ONLY BENN 2 DAYS,BUT IT SURE DOES SMELL GOOD. I'LL GET BACK TO YOU ALL WHEN MY RESULTS KICK IN.

I bought the Break Free based on another member's raves (LD), but didn't like it at first. Now, I can't live without it. It keeps my hair moisturized all day long. Plus it has a light, clean smell to it. Thanks, LD.

The website for Profectiv is strengthofnature.com once you get on this site they have a section asking you if you want a free sample, but they don't have samples of all their products. I use the 4 original ones and they work great. I'm overseas so finding the 3 in 1 will be hard for me.

I have tried all their products except the new ones.

If they haven't updated their site then everything on there I have. I love the product line and for all the raving I do for them they should sponsor me.

Break Free is excellent along with Root Health. The anti itch serum actually works well for me and I like the shampoo.
