Has anyone ever heard of this? I went to Sally's today and they had the 15 oz deep conditioner for $4.89. I had to really fight with myself from getting this. Here's the thing though; The second ingredient (right after water) listed in their conditioner is mineral oil. I know a lot of women on this board don't like having mineral oil as part of their daily moisturizers but is it harmful if i use it in a deep conditioner?
By the way, here's the link if you want to read more about this line http://www.strengthofnature.com/megaline.asp. I really wanna go back on saturday and get the DC. What do you guys think?

good question. I just bought this and I thought that I checked the ingredients before purchasing. I didn't notice the mineral oil until I got home...another product sitting on the shelf:look:

I can't speak for everyone, but I although I don't like large amounts of mineral oil, my hair actually seems to like it in deep conditioners quite a bit.

The PJ in me purchased this at CVS the night before last. I will give a review tomorrow. I plan to use it tonight. I got the DC and the Growth Lotion.

I agree my hair is the same way. I dont use it in my leave-ins or moisturizers but do use it in some of my deep conditioners and my hair loves it.

The only thing that I found that contained harsh hair ingredients that actually helps my hair is Vitapointe.
(mineral oil & beeswax are the 2 & 3 ingredients)
It actually leaves my hair soft & shiny.

I tried the MegaGrowth Strengthener a few months ago and it was okay, but not as good as other Profectiv products. I've seen the line at my local Walgreens, but none of the products really stood out enough to make me want to buy them.

OK,
I tried the DC last night and it was good. My hair was really soft and felt moisturized. It didn't have much slip at all though. I will probably use it up but it was nothing that was WOW!
I used the growth lotion this morning after airdrying in a bun and WOW!!!!!!!
My ends feel like butter hours later. It's not really wet like breakfree and it seems like it would be an excellent daily moisturizer. And the bottle is pretty big and I didn't have to use a lot, so it seems economical. I will probably repurchase.

I saw this on the shelf at the BSS near my job. I picked it up for a moment, then had a deep discussion with myself regarding PJism and put it back. Now I might go back and get it and the growth lotion. I need some good moisturizing conditioners. Mineral oil doesn't really bother me.

I saw it last week. It was a pretty sizable jar. I might purchase it with my perm. I'm do for a retouch.

How does the Growth Lotion look? What's the description of the jar?

I think it's about 15 ozs.

Here's a picture of the line and the growth lotion is the one on the far right. It's really thick and creamy. It's in a bottle not a jar.

Oh yeah... I've seen those. I just might pick it up this weekend. Thanks. I hope it works. But I assumed it's pretty good since I like their Profectiv cream in the jar.

I agree Vitapointe does wonders for my hair as well. I will continue to use it.
