did it provide slip or just dry your hair out??? i'm loving their mega moisturizer and just realized they have a shampoo when i saw it on the store self the other day. the only thing is that i didn't get a chance to check the ingredients

. . . just wanted to see if any of you sistahs had given it a chance and your opinion if you've tried it.

I never tried their shampoos but they now have a neutralizing shampoo mouse out that looks interesting. I have heard that their shampoos do provide good slip though. I would try more profectiv products but they are a rare find where I live.

hmmm . . .

thanks for the comments, godzooki. i think i might have to pick it up. i need at least two shampoos for my coils so they don't "get used to" a certain brand.

i'm still gonna read the ingredients before buying

. . . let the cashier stare at me funny all she wants, LOL.

Personally, I didn't like the shampoo. Come to think of it whenever I use profectiv products on my scalp, it starts to flake. The only product my hair seems to like is the 'damage free' leave in conditioner.

you must have a sensitive scalp like me, which is why i like to ask around before picking up a new product all willy nilly. aveda is mad expensive, but my sensitive skin is gonna make me keep picking it up, i guess. i wonder if that elasta qp conditioning shampoo would be alright ? ? ? sigh . . . i guess i'm still on a quest for another, not so expensive shampoo ! ! !

thank you for speaking up, channy89 ! ! !

I have used the Shampoo only a few times and it made my hair ver soft and clean.
I cant remember if it gave a lot of slip.

Perhaps, you should try Optimum's Super Protecting Shampoo. It's cheap, and if you don't like it, you won't feel bad about spending the money on it because it doesn't cost a ton, plus it's a nice big bottle. It does have SLS, but my hair always feels moisturized with it, and detangled, but not grimey like it did with CON.
