Profectiv Break Free As a \"Deep\" Conditioner

Has anyone ever thought about doing this? It is creamy enough. The directions even say that you can sit under the dryer with it for 15 minutes, but then you're supposed to leave it in. I think I'm going to try it with heat and as a rinse out.

No, but please post your results. That has become one of my favorite moisturizers, so it if works well, I'd definitely try it.

I used it religiously about 6 months ago. It really made my hair softer and so much more manageable. I'm using different stuff now, but I'm seriously considering switching back. I'd recommend anything by the Protectiv line. It's some good stuff, ya'll.

I use it too...post your results. I noticed that when I do use, and I wash my hair, it takes a few days for it to get super curly again. I think it leaves a film on my hair sometimes. but i love it!

I've done it as per directions and it left my hair soft and moisturised.

Ladies,
I HATED that stuff when I used it on my hair dry. BUT, I used it as a deep conditioner and then rinsed it out and used a little more as a leave in and LOVED IT that way! Its funny how u can use the same product a different way and get great results! I give it a thumbs up as a deep conditioner or as a leave in!

I also did this as I refused to use it as a leave in-it was way to heavy for me and I don't like leave ins any way because they way my fine hair down. I used the rest of my container as an addition to my usual conditioner and my hair turned out okay.

I've done it before, I didn't like it, my hair looked dry and it left flakes on my scalp. I think we should stick to the instructions!
