Hi,
I am new here and thanks for those who have replied. Reading some of this I have a question? Is this Neutrogena some are talking about made for black hair? What is the line of haircare products?
I live in LA and someone asked my regimen, I took out my weave in Nov. I have been using Pantene for black hair, applying the daily moisture lotion a lot. I wash and blowdry every two weeks or so, I dont put a lot of crap in my hair, I try to roll it up at night, little heat and just let it be, but it still seems to shed long strands, not ends breaking but thinning...wondering what to try

I used to think the Neutrogena line was geared towards blacks, but now they have the girl from the OC advertising for them. The line is called Triple Moisture. We need to know more about your hair history before we can offer suggestions on a regime.

well, history? I wore a weave for several years just because it was easier than dealing with perms and rollers, etc. I would have it done every two months or so. I decided to take it out in Nov and see what my hair was like, it was long, upper back area I guess, but thinner on the right side. I take care of it as best I know how, no color anymore, Dark and Lovely relaxer...umm...what else

My best advice is to read, read, and read some more. There is SOOOOO much information on this forum. That is how I learned. If you have a question, if you want info on a new product, or anything, do a search. You will find more info than you need! Just some helpful advice.

Go to the Long Hair Care Forum homepage http://www.longhaircareforum.com/ and click on the "Features of the Month" link. When I first joined, I would read their regimes and private message the women whose hair I liked or whose hair was similar to mine. For example; CaramelHonee, Adrienne0914, Boadicea, etc.

Other people I thought were helpful to me were anky, SherryLove, lonei, and Lindy. There are others but I cant think of their names right now!

so nice to meet you! The ladies on this board are so knowledgeable-- I swear that I learn something new everyday. For me, washing my hair with conditioner daily helped my excessive shedding. I will PM you with other questions about your regimen.
