IS ORS REGULAR LYE RELAXER...

causing my hair to shed? I have never really had too much of a problem with breakage or shedding but it seems since I've been using ORS Regular Lye relaxer to texlax, my hair has been thinning on the sides and in the front, my crown has a few broken strands and I'm getting a lot of shedding.

Has this happened to any of you guys?

I used the no lye and the crown and middle section of my hair broke off really bad. I've been doing a lot of deep conditioning and condition washes and I'm seeing great progress.

I'm so sorry that you experienced that and I'm glad you are seeing progress...what did you switch to?

I always use the ORS no lye relaxer and have not had any problems.
