Although I was skeptical, I tried the oil rinse and I'm very pleased with the results. I dampened my hair by spraying it with water. Applied about 1 tablespoon or so of EVCO and massaged it into my hair and scalp (I cut my hair really short recently). I watched netflix for about an hour, showered/rinsed it out, then used OYIN's honey hemp conditioner... again, massaging my hair and scalp. My hair felt softer and looked shinier... when I woke up this morning my hair still looked shiny!

How often do you ladies do this? I'm afraid of doing it too often, but I'm eager to do it again. I'm very impressed because my hair doesn't respond to oils really.

I do my oil rinses with every wash, so once every 1-2 weeks. I've been hooked ever since I first tried them.

What do you ladies think is the best oil to use in an oil rinse. I tried it this week and was not impressed.

For me, its the Keracare Intensive Restorative masque (new formula). I didn't like the old formula too much but this one makes me hair both soft and strong.

Using nothing but castor oil also. It works better than anything els.

Washing less often. Now this is the biggest thing that helps me. Leaving my hair alone.

I've been hearing about this Joico K Pak for years and have NEVER tried it.

Is it really that good?

Must say that I consistently get great results with their products. Ulta sells trial/travel sizes if you want try before committing to bigger bottles.

My new find is Elasta QP curl wax. My dry crinkled ends were no more with flat ironing.

- Sealing with a ceramide oil (safflower)
- Getting rid of direct heat
- Texlaxing instead of relaxing straight
- Being patient with not trimming my lead hairs and allowing the rest of my hair to catch up
- Being consistent with maintaining a healthy lifestyle

*Washing my hair in twists to prevent major tangles.

*Detangling my hair (after shampoo & dc) with no product before putting in my leave in and sealant. I lose less hair this way.

**Twirling my hair on the ends after putting in twists to avoid ssk. This has been HUGE for me and all I can say is what ssk? I don't have them anymore!

I luv the soft new growth castor oil gives!!! I was very worried about my dry roots, i mixed castor oil with my conditioning rinse & my 4 months of new growth is so soft & very easy to detangle.
